Ad design and poster design for the Phuket Race Week, an annual sailing regatta in Phuket, Thailand. Event name and date is visible from distance, all other secondary information is readable by closer inspection.

For ad and poster designs it is always a matter of priorities. You have to choose which information is most relevant to your potential client and according to that, design the artwork. The blue background (water), the yellow-orange (sun), the curved logo design (wind/sail) indicate fun and sun filled days on the water.
